Dangerous games

SIR – I am confused: your front-page report (August 8) tells me that my grandchildren need to spend more time in front of their screens in order to “master the virtual world” and “save the country”.

Alongside the continuation of this article on the next page is another article which tells me that “video games enthusiasts are at risk of dementia”.

I think I’ll just buy them a catapult each. John Newbury
