Worldpay bid deadline delayed

Worldpay said the deadline by which US group Vantiv had to make a firm takeover offer had been pushed back for a second time. The two companies have until Friday afternoon to agree on the terms of the deal, with British payments group Worldpay saying talks were “continuing”. The pair will report earnings results today.
