Tax changes hit JLR’S UK sales

-

Luxury car firm Jaguar Land Rover said sales dipped in the UK in the quarter to June 30, after April saw new rules introduced for the tax paid on new cars. However, across the group as a whole, retail sales rose 3.5pc on the previous year as demand from China proved robust, causing a 49pc year-on-year lift to profit.
