Former Financial boss’s ban upheld

The Upper Tribunal has upheld the City watchdog’s decision to ban the former CEO of adviser network Financial and Investments from “significant influence functions” and fine him £86,691, agreeing Charles Palmer “failed to act with due skill, care and diligence”. The network provided advice to around 40,000 clients from 2010 to 2012.
