Rise in demand for warehouses

Around 11.5m sq ft of space was taken up for industrial and “Big Box” logistics facilities in the UK in the first half of 2017, 3.2pc ahead of the long-term average, BNP Paribas data found. Rental values for standard industrial sites were up 3.9pc over the 12 months to the end of June, and were up 3.3pc for distribution warehouses.
