What will be the tactics?

Paul Clement produced a minor miracle in keeping Swansea in the Premier League last season and he will have his work cut out to do so again. Clement will keep Swansea’s brand of attractive, passing football but will need to instil greater defensive security to prevent another relegation struggle.

Who looks the most exciting signing?

Half of the Premier League wanted to take striker Tammy Abraham (below) on loan from Chelsea, but Swansea got the 19-year-old for the season ahead of Newcastle United and Brighton.

Which unknown could make a name for themselves? Who’s the one player they cannot do without?

Central defender Alfie Mawson proved to be a real find for Swansea last season and the England Under-21 international will be key to Clement’s efforts to make his team harder to break down.

How safe is the manager? Who would be the most appropriate celebrity fan?

The entire cast of TOWIE: Tidy, often quite nice to look at, yet you can’t help but wonder what their purpose is.

Maybe not unknown to those who keep up with La Liga, but summer signing Roque Mesa could be a key move for Swansea this season. The midfielder likes to dictate play and is known for his range of passing. Given how well he did to keep Swansea up, Clement should be on safe ground. But Swansea’s American owners proved twice last season, with Francesco Guidolin and Bob Bradley, that they are not afraid to quickly pull the plug if things go wrong.
