The great hall of the National Building Museum in Washington DC plays host to a 60ft-high interactiv­e installati­on by the Studio Gang group called Hive, a set of domed acoustic chambers made out of 2,700 paper tubes. Inside, visitors can experiment with the drum-like tubes and chimes, exploring how sound travels and changes.
