Restaurant and pub groups in CFO shuffle

Frankie & Benny’s owner The Restaurant Group has poached the chief financial officer of pub operator Greene King to serve as its finance chief, with Kirk Davis expected to start next February. Mr Davis previously held a similar role at Wetherspoons. Meanwhile, Greene King said it had already found a replacement, hiring Richard Smothers, who announced his resignation from the same position at baby retailer Mothercare in May.
