Sky Sports host due in court over drink driving

Kirsty Gallacher, the Sky Sports presenter, has been charged with a drink-driving offence.

Thames Valley Police said Ms Gallacher had been bailed to appear at Slough magistrates’ court on September 4, following an incident in Eton, Berks, on Saturday.

A spokesman said: “Kirsty Gallacher, aged 41, of Virginia Water, was charged last night with one count of driving a motor vehicle when alcohol level was above the legal limit.”

Ms Gallacher is a well-known fitness enthusiast, having discussed her healthy lifestyle regime in a series of recent interviews.
