The only way is Vegas as broker gets wrong flight
A British businessman trying to get home to Essex ended up in Las Vegas after getting on the wrong flight – despite claiming airline staff checked his boarding pass three times.
Samuel Jankowsky, 29, a finance broker, was supposed to be flying to Stansted after meetings in Cologne, Germany. After an hour-long nap he woke to find that the aircraft had flown past Britain.
He said that when he landed in the US, immigration officials threatened to detain him for not having a visa.
A spokesman for Eurowings said the airline was aware of the case and it had already been resolved.
