Missing grandfather was in park with girlfriend

A French grandfather has been returned to his care home after his decision to have a romantic stroll in the park prompted a police search.

His granddaughter arrived at the home in Brittany’s Pléneuf Val-andré, but could not find him. Staff at the Jardins d’arcadie joined the hunt and police finally found the man in a nearby park, with officers telling local media he was “walking arm in arm” with a woman said to be his girlfriend.
