Bellway chief to take health break

The chief executive of FTSE 250 house-builder Bellway, Ted Ayres, has taken a leave of absence to undergo treatment for a medical condition, with chairman John Watson to take up executive duties. Mr Watson served as CEO until he became chairman in 2013. Bellway also named Jason Honeyman as its new chief operating officer.
