WPP buys in bid to hit digital goal

Advertisin­g giant WPP has bought a Dubai-based digital advertisin­g agency, hug digital, as it stressed its focus on digital marketing and media. Hug’s 2016 revenue was AED19M (£4m), with clients including Shell and Dubai Tourism. WPP’S target is for 40-45pc of its revenue to come from digital in the next four to five years.
