Stark trek Winner has no lavatory

2018’s “Chef to Watch” award has been handed to a micro-restaurant in Kent which is so small it does not have a lavatory.

According to the guide, the £45-a-head six course taster menu is so outstanding that customers are happy to nip across to the local pub to spend a penny.

The aptly named Stark, in Broadstairs, is run by Ben Crittenden, and described by Ms Carter as “extraordinary”.
