Cricket’s pink ball ‘defeats colour-blind’

-

The first glimpse of day-night Test cricket in England with a pink ball, which saw Joe Root and Alastair Cook put on a batting masterclass against the West Indies at Edgbaston, has been criticised for discrimination against colour-blind people.

Colour Blind Awareness has written to the England and Wales Cricket Board demanding that the governing body reviews the use of the ball, which it says is very difficult to spot for people with the condition. Sport: Page 2
