Exchange app woos US investor

Transferwise, the online currency exchange business, could be valued at around £1bn following a fund-raising round that includes one of Silicon Valley’s oldest venture capital firms. IVP, an early backer of Snapchat, Twitter and Netflix, is taking a stake as part of a £60m raising of funds, according to Sky News.
