CITB hits back at skills criticism

Construction’s training body the CITB has hit back at criticism from the boss of the UK’S biggest contractor Balfour Beatty. Leo Quinn said over the weekend skills shortages highlighted the body was failing. But the CITB said it was pushing ahead with reforms to modernise and it believed “a majority of firms” supported it.
