This grotesque period sitcom gets the best out of a crack cast. This episode is graced by Andrew Scott’s cameo as Charles Dickens, whose presence exposes William (Mathew Baynton) as a blowhard. Florence Nightingale (Milly Thomas) also makes an appearance in a series that is not afraid to show its intelligence and wear it lightly. GT
