Half of children worried about seeing online porn
Children as young as seven worry about accidentally seeing pornography online.
A survey by Girlguiding UK has found that 53 per cent of children aged between seven and 12 worry about seeing “rude images and pictures” on the internet.
The survey into girls’ attitudes also indicates parents often underestimate the impact social media can have on their daughters, with girls saying adults do not realise the pressures they face, including peer pressure, threats from strangers and concern about how their pictures might be used online.
