Mobile trend helps Hostelworld
TRAVEL bookings website Hostelworld swung back to profit in the first half of the year, as more holidaymakers booked trips via mobiles.
Pre-tax profits hit €5.17m on revenues of €46.6m, reversing a €5.5m loss last year, with Feargal Mooney, the chief executive, saying that mobile customers “transact more frequently”.
The company also an- nounced that its chairman Richard Segal is planning to step down later this year.
