Dozens killed as Yemen hotel is hit by air strikes
At least 35 people died in air strikes that hit a hotel near a Houthicontrolled checkpoint north of the Yemeni capital Sana’a yesterday, a medic and a Houthi-run television station said, blaming the attack on Saudi-led coalition forces.
The roof of the hotel, which is in the Arhab district about 20km (13 miles) from Sana’a, collapsed in the strike, the medical worker told Reuters.
Al-masira TV, run by the Houthi armed movement that controls northern Yemen, said at least 41 “martyrs” or “victims” had been killed.
