Gulf oil workers evacuated

Oil and gas workers in the Gulf of Mexico have been evacuated from offshore platforms after tropical storm Harvey was upgraded to hurricane as it approached the Texas coast. Shell said it would evacuate all staff from its Perdido project while Exxonmobil and Anadarko are scaling back activities at rigs in the storm path.
