Thomas Cook eyes Air Berlin

Thomas Cook’s German airline is eyeing a number of plane purchases from Air Berlin after the carrier filed for insolvency last week. Condor is vying with Lufthansa, Ryanair and easyjet to snap up Air Berlin’s planes if the carrier is grounded, according to Reuters. The airline is currently afloat with the help of a government loan.
