Road to recovery

Luxury sports car maker Aston Martin’s turnaround is gaining speed. Driven by demand for the DB11 grand tourer, launched last year, Aston had sales in the six months to the end of June of 2,439 cars, a rise of 67pc, and pre-tax profits of £21.1m.
