S Korean man fined for ‘Dr Dre wedding’ claim

An elderly South Korean man has been fined after he claimed that the widow of the late president was to marry Dr Dre, the American rapper.

The 73-year-old man said online the marriage was arranged to launder “slush funds” for Kim Dae-jung, the former South Korean leader. A court in Seoul ruled that the allegations “violated the honour” of Mr Kim, who died in 2009, as well as the honour of his widow, Lee Hee-ho, 95.
