Sunny outlook helps Polymetal

Shares in Polymetal ticked up 1.1pc in London after the Russian gold miner said it expected “stronger production, lower costs and materially higher cash flow generation” in its second half. Net earnings had fallen 27pc in the first half, after costs were pushed higher by the stronger Russian rouble and as it advanced its Kyzyl project.
