Statoil faces Norway setback

Oil and gas producer Statoil yesterday voiced its disappointment that it had failed to find commercial quantities of oil and gas at what had been thought of as the most promising reservoir in the Barents Sea. “It is too early to draw any conclusions on how this will impact the Barents Sea south-east area,” a Statoil spokesman said.
