Ex-vedanta boss given interim job

FTSE 250-listed Vedanta Resources has named Kuldip Kaura, its former chief executive, as interim CEO as it continues its search for a new permanent head. Tom Albanese is stepping down from the role, effective today, having announced his resignation earlier this year. Mr Kaura served as CEO of Vedanta until 2008.
