Knifeman held after two injured in ‘brawl’ at mall
A knifeman was arrested at Westfield shopping centre in east London last night after a “mass brawl” in which two men were injured, with witnesses describing “blood all over the floor”.
One witness posted a photo on social media showing a crowd around a man lying motionless on the ground.
The Metropolitan Police said officers were called at 6.15pm to reports of a fight before arresting a man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
A spokesman said: “A male was taken to hospital suffering a stab injury – condition awaits. A second male was found with head injuries
– his condition is not thought to be serious. A male was arrested nearby in possession of an offensive weapon.”
