Six arrested in Spanish African territory

Security forces in Spain and Morocco have arrested six men for plotting terrorist attacks from the Spanish North African territory of Melilla. Spain’s interior ministry said yesterday that the men were “planning terrorist attacks” in the name of Isil. Spanish authorities said the alleged leader was a 39-year-old who is accused of using Isil propaganda to recruit men and boys from his workplace at a detention centre. The arrests come weeks after 16 people died in attacks in Spain.
