sir – Three cheers for Jacob Reesmogg (“Rees-mogg against abortion”, report, September 7) . For once, we have heard the voice of a politician who has the courage to speak up for his Christian convictions instead of bowing to the bullying of the politically correct.

sir – I watched the Jacob Rees-mogg television interview with dismay. He was measured in every way, unlike the arrogant bigots who interviewed him. The media seem to think that everyone who disagrees with them is either stupid or evil.
