English clubs prosper in Champions League

English clubs made a flying start in the Champions League last night, with Manchester United and Chelsea both notching up easy victories against Basel and Qarabag respectively. Things were not so rosy north of the border, where Celtic were thrashed 5-0 by big-spending Paris Saint-germain. Sport, pages 1-9
