No light task
SIR – John Brandon (Letters, September 5) should not disparage those who have difficulty in changing light bulbs.
My wife and I recently spent a whole morning changing our bathroom bulb. The covering shade came apart in what seemed like a dozen pieces, with screws so tiny that they disappeared if dropped. We changed the inset bulb with some difficulty, but gave up on reassembling the shade and called for help. Paul Johnson
