Software purge US bans Russian cyber security

The Trump administration yesterday told US government agencies to remove Kaspersky Lab products from their information systems, saying it was concerned that the Moscowbased cyber security firm was vulnerable to Kremlin influence.

Kaspersky did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
