Chaos delays Arsenal’s Europa League match

Arsenal’s European campaign began in chaos last night as thousands of Cologne supporters forced the kick-off to be delayed by an hour.

The Europa League tie was delayed amid safety fears after an estimated 20,000 German fans descended on London with only 3,000 tickets, and huge crowds built up outside the Emirates Stadium. Fans reported seeing Cologne fans in the home end. Sport: Pages 1-3
