Killer ‘inspired by his own novel’

Spanish police are investigating whether a double murderer was imitating a scene from his own crime fiction.

Pierre Danilo Larancuent, a Swedish citizen who was shot dead by police after fatally stabbing an officer in Valencia on Tuesday, appears to have played out a scenario he had written about, in which a serial killer uses a knife to stab victims.
