Car bomb attack on Nato convoy in Afghanistan

A car bomber attacked a Danish convoy belonging to the Nato-led military mission in the Afghan capital Kabul yesterday, wounding a number of civilians, security officials said.

A Danish military spokesman said no international forces personnel were harmed, but there were reports of as many as five civilians being injured.

Captain William Salvin, a spokesman for Nato’s Resolute Support mission, confirmed the attack.
