BA service nosedive
SIR – You criticise airlines’ increasingly shoddy service (leading article, September 23).
We’re entering an era in which it will be especially important to demonstrate the quality of all things British. Should we allow British Airways to continue to use that brand name while its service levels decline?
As a regular long-haul business traveller, I’m witnessing this decline first-hand, with cost-cutting across the board. For example, BA lounges are being axed, and business travellers crowded into spaces shared with multiple other airlines.
