Britain’s Lost Masterpieces

Art sleuth Dr Bendor Grosvenor, who viewers may recognise from the BBC One programme Fake or Fortune?, and social historian Emma Dabiri team up to track down lost and hidden paintings from local museums and public galleries. They begin at Pollok House in Glasgow, where they investigate a painting of George Villiers, the 1st Duke of Buckingham, the lover of James VI of Scotland (James I of England), which has been missing for nearly 400 years.
