Firsts on film for BBC Natural History
The BBC Natural History Unit has a history of filming animal behaviour never seen before. In Planet Earth II the Araguaia river dolphin, which was only discovered in the Amazon in 2014, was captured on film for the first time.
Other team broadcast firsts include bobcats hunting ducks and squirrels in the Rocky Mountains; lions hunting giraffe in Namibia; and scorpion hunting bats.
