The pigs have flown and Arthur Scargill is right

SIR – After experiencing the miners’ strike, I never thought I could ever be on Arthur Scargill’s side in anything. But reading his letter on Theresa May’s betrayal of the “will of the people” by offering to keep Britain in the EU until 2021 (September 27), I found myself cheering him to the rafters.

I wonder if there is room in his Socialist Labour Party for a blackhearted Tory like me. Richard Billington
