Harry and Meghan’s love Games sealed with a kiss

- By Hannah Furness in Toronto

AFTER a declaration of love and a public appearance hand-in-hand, little more confirmation was needed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s relationship is going places.

On Saturday night, they made their most public display of affection yet as the Prince left his official seat at the Invictus Games closing ceremony to sneak a kiss on his girlfriend’s cheek.

The Prince, 33, joined Ms Markle in a private box at the ceremony, spending time with her mother, Doria Ragland, and two close friends.

The American actress had been tactfully tucked away from the limelight in a box at the Air Canada Centre, on the opposite side of the stadium from where the Prince had been undertaking his official duties with other dignitaries.

Photographs taken from the arena show the Prince and Ms Markle embracing, whispering in one another’s ears affectionately and enjoying a kiss on the cheek.

The attendance of her mother lent the event extra significance, with the Prince clearly embraced by his potential future mother-in-law.

After spending time with Ms Markle to watch performances from Bruce Springsteen and Bryan Adams, Prince Harry finally took to the stage alone to deliver a farewell congratulatory message to competitors as his girlfriend and her mother applauded enthusiastically.

Ms Radlan is a social worker and yoga instructor and is understood to have met Prince Harry previously.
