Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti’s Homme (Apollon) sculpture in bronze is expected to fetch between £800,000 and £1.2 million tonight at the Up Close auction, part of Frieze Week at Christie’s auction house in London. Giacometti (19011966) is best known for his sculptures of the human form, stretched out with elongated limbs.
