Corrections and Clarifications

- Leo Etherington

A Sept 1 article reported on the inquest into the death of teenager Leo Etherington and wrongly stated that he had been refused permission to change his name at school. The name change request was in fact made two years before Leo’s death, and although names cannot be legally changed before the age of 16, Wycombe High School allows students to be called by chosen alternative names. We apologise for any confusion and distress caused.
