Ejected Volunteer removed prankster as police stood by

A 24-year-old Conservative volunteer stopped the prankster who disrupted Theresa May’s speech and escorted him from the hall as security and police stood by.

Daragh Quinn, an MP’S assistant, volunteered during the election and was looking after the photographers’ section in front of the Prime Minister.

Mr Quinn said: “I thought he was a proper protester, I didn’t realise he was a prankster. I thought he had had his fun, I probably should have done it far sooner.”
