Carey Mulligan hits the red carpet for the UK premiere of Mudbound

at the BFI London Film Festival last night. Set in the Mississippi Delta in the wake of the Second World War, Carey plays Memphis native Laura, who struggles to adjust to life on her new husband’s secluded cotton farm. It created an Oscar buzz at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, where it was bought by Netflix, which will begin streaming the drama on Nov 17.
