Draw kills off Scots’ World Cup hopes

Scotland fell short of the World Cup qualifying play-offs with a 2-2 draw against Slovenia when a win would have seen them progress. England, already through to next summer’s finals, completed an unbeaten qualifying campaign with a 1-0 win over Lithuania.
