Wedding woe as bridegroom’s £160,000 supercar is seized
♦ A bridegroom had his £160,000 Lamborghini supercar seized by police on his wedding day after officers discovered he had no insurance.
The white Lamborghini Huracán – complete with ribbons marking the nuptials – was impounded by officers in Bingley, West Yorkshire.
A photograph of the vehicle, which is capable of reaching speeds of 202mph, was uploaded to Twitter by West Yorkshire Police’s Road Policing Unit on Saturday night. It read: “Happy wedding day, ‘Can I have the keys please’, the officer said to the groom!” with the added hashtag of #Lamboseizey.
