Ubiquity of Weinstein

-

SIR – Allison Pearson hit the spot when she said that Harvey Weinstein’s “behaviour and what he was allowed to get away with for so many years, is a microcosm of what women in workplaces everywhere have to put up with” (Features, October 11).

During my business career I had some splendid bosses but, my goodness, there were also a lot of Weinsteins around. In fear for our livelihood, my cohort dealt with this despicable, pathetic behaviour in our own quiet way and survived.

Let us hope that women in today’s workplaces are inspired by Weinstein’s victims to expose men who think they can objectify women. Rosie Harden-vane
