Lindsay: I was on Weinstein blacklist

ROBERT LINDSAY has claimed Harvey Weinstein halted his film career because he confronted him over his behaviour towards an actress.

He claimed he was blacklisted for Shakespeare in Love after a run-in with the producer over his Strike it Rich costar, Molly Ringwald. Ringwald said Weinstein over-sexualised her role and made her say lines that were not in the script. Lindsay wrote on Twitter: “Having been cast in Shakespeare in Love, he told the director NO Lindsay.”
